Member Services Representative
As an Member Service Representative (MSR), along with performing basic teller responsibilities of accurately handling transactions (deposits, transfers, withdrawals, check cashing, etc.), you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional member service in a professional manner through product knowledge and solid cross-sales. You be responsible for performing member services such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificate accounts and assisting members with any maintenance issues regarding their accounts. This person will be responsible for selling and cross selling credit union products and services, obtaining and exceeding individual sales goals as well as the branch sales goals. You will review credit reports, research background information to determine eligibility, complete loan documents and disburse approved loans.
Candidates must have High School diploma or equivalent work related experience. Associate’s Degree (A.A.) preferred or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or one year or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or equivalent work related experience. Prior financial services background is required. Spanish speaking skills are a plus, but not required.
